Polní den/Field day P&L– local workshop organized by P&L Ltd. , AGRA Řisuty Ltd. (SHui Associated Partner), other partners in Řisuty and Ledce – Czech Republic

The field day (also opening day for public) was a local workshop organized by P&L Ltd. at AGRA Řisuty (farm cooperating with SHui). A total of 100 people including farmers (70), students (10), and public (20) attended the field day and learned about possibilities of new planting techniques, but also about water holding capacity of the soil profile and associated risks of farm water management.

SHui questionnaires of water management at farms were further discussed and soil quality and resulting soil fertility issues were presented directly at the field. Together with dissemination and information on the research transferred to public, discussions helped farmers gather solutions for farm management scenarios planned within SHui.
