Short Summary
The webinar will introduce precision agriculture and precision irrigation and the basis for approaching, understanding and managing spatial variability in agricultural settings. We will then dive into and concentrate on the development of AI based decision support models and their conversion into practical user-friendly tools, to support precision management in agriculture for water status management and for sampling. The webinar will present the concepts of precision management via prediction models, management zones and spatial sampling, will present case studies of vineyards, field crops and VRI center pivots from various sites in Europe, America and Israel and will end with a prognosis on the future of precision irrigation in agriculture.
